  I give them one star for their delicious tasting cupcakes and premade pastries.
  
  As a fellow baker, who has made elaborate and delicious cakes, I just didn’t have the time with working long hours to make my daughters cake, which is why I whose them as my go to.
  
  I provided the design to the baker, a single layer, “book” cake, with some added flair and fairy dust, for her 12th birthday (my daughter loves to read). What I got was a ridiculously overpriced rectangle sheet cake that didn’t look like a book and did not have any decoration at all. I was frantically driving to my cake decorating store to find decorations to make it look pretty before we got to the restaurant. It was not worth the $125 I paid for it, but it tasted good.
  
  I felt as though they had forgotten about my order and only had time to ice a frozen sheet cake and add the writing I’d requested for the cover and spine.
